443rd Headquarters and Base Services Squadron

The Headquarters and Base Services Squadron was commanded by Major Jack B.
Young and was composed of the Headquarters 79the Service Group, 989th Military
Police Company, 1042nd Signal Company, 23rd Station Complement Squadron and
scattered personnel form other units.
On 18 April, 1945 the 443rd Air Service Group was activated an it included three
squadrons in which all the station's former service units were included. Lt. Col.Samuel F.
Stephenson was placed in command.
