Lost June 10, 1944 South of London, while climbing
through overcast outbound collided midair with Lt.
Kochanek and crashed.  Kochanek bailed out and survived.

Over the years since, people of removed items from the site.  Recently (2 weekends ago,
November 11, 2015) bombs were exposed and the police and military attended and made
safe.  These were the two 250-lb bombs on McDermott's plane.
